Counsellor
Helen Garland
I’m a warm, grounded counsellor offering a calm space for people who are processing current life issues, navigating relationship changes, and wanting to understand their patterns and themselves more deeply. Therapy with me is a place to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with yourself.
My approach is gentle, steady and attuned. Together we explore what’s happening in your life, how you’re feeling, and what your experiences mean to you, helping you make sense of your inner world and the patterns that shape your relationships and choices.
I’m an integrative counsellor, meaning I draw on different therapeutic approaches to support each person in a way that feels right for them, rather than following a single method.
I follow the professional ethical guidelines of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS). I’m fully insured and have regular clinical supervision to ensure I’m working ethically and safely.

Counsellor
Kate Kersel
Hello, my name is Kate.
I became a counsellor because I understand how difficult it can be to reach out when your inner world feels conflicted or overwhelming.
For me, counselling begins with building a trusting relationship, and I endeavour to offer a warm, friendly and welcoming space where you can feel heard, understood and accepted. Taking time to understand what you are experiencing now, as well as the life events, family relationships and societal expectations that have shaped you, can help us make sense of what you are going through. I believe you are the expert in your own life, and I will work collaboratively with you, at a pace that feels comfortable, supporting you to develop greater self-understanding, trust yourself and find your own way forward.
I tailor my approach to you as an individual, drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches, with person-centred therapy at the heart of my work. Together, we can find an approach that feels right for you, helping you find a way through difficult times and reconnect with a sense of hope.

Counsellor
Alison Williams
I am a person-centred therapist.
I am a qualified and registered person-centred counsellor. This means that I am a safe professional who is recognised by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), which is a key regulatory body for Counselling and Psychotherapy in the UK.
Prior to becoming a professional counsellor, I have worked for 15 years as a teacher of Childhood and Education Studies. I have a great deal of knowledge regarding how early life experiences influence a person’s sense of identity and how, sometimes, a person’s childhood can result in difficult emotions that continue to impact on adult life. In my teaching career I have supported many people from a wide range of different backgrounds, and I understand how life experiences can be strongly shaped by culture and/or expectations of family. I am also a trained bereavement counsellor and regularly provide support to people experiencing loss. Additionally, I have experience of counselling clients experiencing various types of distress.
I aim to offer a kind, confidential space to help people explore their distress free of judgement and to find strategies to live life more fully and feel at peace.

Counsellor / Children Young People specialist
Kate Lewis
I work with adults and children and young people, and have particular experience supporting neurodivergent clients.
I understand that life can get overwhelming at times. You may feel lost, as though you have no one to talk to. Perhaps you need time to process traumatic events or you're going through big life changes.
Therapy can be accessed if you're wanting to feel heard and you just need to talk. It is my ultimate goal to create a supportive environment so in your own time, you will feel ready to talk about your feelings.
As a member and qualified counsellor of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, I will be here, walking with you on your therapeutic journey.
